Part of a consultant pharmacist job is trying to prevent nursing home survey deficiencies.  In the video above I break down some examples of deficiencies that have already happened here in 2018.

You can find the most up to date deficiency reports on the Minnesota Department of Health website.  I believe this holds true for other states as well.  It is a resource that is a nice way to identify trends and survey related deficiencies.

F-329 is one of the most common nursing home survey deficiencies and there are definitely a few examples available here so far in 2018.  I outline a few examples within the video and give you some tools and tips to try to help prevent deficiencies at your facility.
